     Summary of Job

The Events and Merchandise Project Manager will work with the Events Coordinators to manage tasks and projects relating to Adventures in Missions events and training camps.

The Project Manager will oversee successful inventory management and produce annual sales goals alongside the merchandise coordinator. Finally, they will work with the Campus Operations Sr. Manager on special projects to achieve successful organizational and departmental goals.

 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete task management for each event produced by Adventures in Missions programs (including, but not limited to, World Race Training Camp, World Race Launch, Project Searchlight, Ambassador Training Camp, and Staff Events).

  • Work alongside Events Coordinators in daily functions of events to assist with problem-solving and to create workflows to manage efficiency and reduce labor costs.

  • Provide complete logistical support for Project Searchlight event alongside the Alumni Relations department.

  • Manage all event requests and coordinate with campus operations department to ensure high quality, successful events.

  • Coordinate and facilitate event follow-up meetings between the program and events coordinators. Communicate any feedback to campus operations departments and help develop creative problem-solving solutions.

  • Assist with special projects assigned by Campus Operations Sr. Manager.

  • Check in with merchandise coordinators to support inventory management and sales goals success.

  • Basic knowledge of merchandise (inventory and sales) management.

  • At least two year’s experience in event management.
