Summary of Job

The World Race General Interns will have the potential to assist the World Race Staff in

multiple areas across the department. They will be assigned tasks based on their own

abilities and skill sets from three areas of focus: Field Support, Admission Support, and

Recruiting Support.

The internship is designed to provide professional development and work experience for

World Race alumni coming out of one of the World Race programs. We aim to help World

Race alumni to better transition into a corporate setting for employment opportunities

through this experiential internship. The internship will last anywhere from six to twelve

months and will have the potential to be full-time or part-time based on what will be

decided between the intern and the intern supervisor.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Create devotional materials for squads on the field.

● Support field roles. Be in communication with racers to provide care and direction

for different role positions.

● Assist building out processes in our new internal system, Service Reef.

● Various administrative tasks including submitting insurance, gathering passport

data, creating racer resources, managing the racers launch blogs and helping

schedule interview calls.

● Schedule calls with new racers and help encourage and prepare them for the

field.

● Followup and encourage new racers to reach their fundraising goals.

● Searching for and scheduling tabling events at Christian college campus and high

school college fairs starting in GA and surrounding states. Then building teams to

attend those events.

● Be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit in conversations with each participant.

● Participate in participant events, such as Training Camp registrations and Training

Camp training teams for squads/trips as needed

positive attitude, and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment

● Current lifestyle of pursuing growth and self-care

● Experience with the World Race
