Classification: Temporary Full-time - Hourly (May-October)

Summary of Job
To develop, operate, build, and manage the Adventures media systems at times and
locations necessary to support the work of Adventures in Missions. This will include the
development, training and management of a media support team to assist in all aspects of
the operation of media systems used at Adventures

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• A/V Technician is responsible for the following duties:
• Performing repairs/maintenance/upgrades on existing systems
• Maintaining inventory and status records for all equipment
• Setting up systems for worship - events - camps
• Maintain healthy communication with program leadership
• Operating audio/visual during worship - events - camps
• Research and procurement of new equipment as needed
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights & weekends
• Spending of Media budget within communicated parameters

• Professing Christian with established record of high Christian character, integrity,
• servant leadership, maturity, and a positive attitude
• Character and Integrity –must have strong Christian moral principles, be
• trustworthy, honest, fair, and display the Fruit of the Spirit in both word and action
• Servant leadership – must lead as Christ did with humility, considering their
• needs above your own and making it your priority to improve those you serve
• Maturity –must be strong spiritually, responding appropriately with respect to the

• you
• Understand and embrace the core values, culture, and ministry of Adventures in
• Missions.
• Background in sound for at least one year
• Background in running events also preferred but not required
