      Summary of Job

    The Recruiting Representative is at the frontline of recruiting and discipling potential Adventures participants, by communicating the mission and vision of Adventures programs through events,     networking and self-sourced lead generation that results in people joining the mission.

     Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Recruiting Representative is responsible for the following duties:

    • Organize events at colleges, high schools, churches, festivals, and youth ministries.

    • Effectively communicate the mission and vision of Adventures to prospective participants.

    • This role will require to travel up to 80% of the time within their region (reliable transportation is required).

    • Self-source leads through market research, networking and cold calling.

    • Clearly communicate the differences between programs and help guide the prospective participant 

    • Build relationships with potential participants by organizing follow-up calls, coffee meetings, etc. 

    • Guide prospective participants through the admissions process from recruiting to commit. 

    • Leverage interactions with potential participants as possible discipleship opportunities. 

    • Collaborates with other Recruiting Representatives to prepare and present competitive sales proposals. 

    • Develop a team of ministry partners to complete the fundraising goal. (Amount to be determined). Through this process ministering to partners through prayer and teaching biblical truths is essential. (I Corinthians 9:14, Philippians 4:17) Training for this located at: www.support.adventures.org 

  • Administrative tasks:

    • Report sales numbers to Sales Manager

    • Track applicant information until the applicant commits to an Adventures mission trip

 
  • Job Requirements:

    • A deep connection to the mission and vision of Adventures

    • A personal relationship with the Lord and experience in discipleship

    • At least 2 years of sales or similar experience preferred

    • Campus or college recruiting is preferred

    • Ability to self-source owns leads through market research, networking and cold calling.

    • Strong work ethic with a desire to excel

    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
